Seattle, Washington: Park Bench Tribute to Kurt Cobain

Kurt Cobain's mansion was next to little Viretta Park. In the years since his death, fans have carved countless tributes into one of the park's benches. It's easy to spot; no grass grows around it, having been worn away by thousands of feet and knees.

Directions:
In Seattle's exclusive Denny-Blaine neighborhood. From downtown drive west on E. Madison St. for two miles. Bear right just after Spotless Cleaners onto Lake Washington Blvd E. Drive one mile. You'll see a low brick wall on the right. Just past the brick wall, on the right, you'll see a tiny park. The bench is plainly visible, right in front.
