Back in March the Curiosity Museum reopened as The Soul Asylum. While it still mainly focuses on the torture devices of the previous museum, the place also holds local artifacts, haunted dolls, and relics from serial killers. A spooky time for all to have.

[Bill Thomas, 01/13/2022]Over 50 exhibits of torture devices. All are replicas, but historically accurate. Written material and pictures accompany each exhibit. Takes about 45 minutes for a self-guided tour. Cameras allowed, stay as long as you like. Odditorium section coming soon with exhibits of medical quackery, Civil War medicine, medical anomalies, voodoo, odd historical items, and "freaks."
