Octopus attacks!

Anchor Inn

The Anchor Inn is a little motel on Highway 101, right near the beach. It's a fun stop with lots of kitsch and photo opportunities, even one for dogs! There are entire boats in the front yard and so much nautical, Hollywood, and eclectic memorabilia, you just won't know where to look. Out back there is a fun trail with things to look at -- a boat, some chickens, and an octopus attacking the boat captain.

We chatted with the octopus sculptor, who sculpts for the nearby wax museum.

[Jody Day, 04/07/2014]

Anchor Inn is the oldest motel in Lincoln City, and cautions prospective guests that it is "not for everybody."
