Mount Dora, Florida: Mount Dora Museum of Speed (Closed)

Museum has much more than fast cars. A real Baby Boomer pack-rat's nest of everything from old embalming equipment to a Richard Nixon sideshow head to relics from Pawn Stars and Duck Dynasty, the owner's two favorite TV shows. Closed May 2019; collection sold off.

Directions:
US Hwy 441 exit onto E. 1st Ave. Drive west a half-mile. Turn right at the stoplight onto N. Highland Ave. (Mini-mart on right). Drive one block, then turn right onto E. 2nd Ave. You'll see the museum and its parking lot on the left.
