Boca Grande, Florida: Abrazo: Man Hugs Beach

A surreal work by artist Emil Alzamora, who loved Boca Grande's beaches as a child. But don't worry, new generation of kids -- the long-armed sand-hugger is only art! Dedicated in 2004 and donated by Paul and Sue Kruder.

Hugging beach.

Abrazo: Man Hugs Beach

Our first time on the island, so we stopped at the two Roadside America attractions listed. I recommend going and enjoying the island and visit the attractions. We had the place to ourselves to take many pictures.
