Atlanta, Georgia: Terminus - The Walking Dead

Me and my buddy went on motorcycles to check it out. Nearly got held at gunpoint. We were lucky we had our GoPros on. Be careful. Other than that it's a pretty cool place.

I cannot emphasize enough to NOT leave your car running while you take a photo, as someone previously advised. If your buns leave the driver seat, the door needs to be locked, no questions asked. It's a safe enough neighborhood during the day, but people are known to run up to a running vehicle and, at the very least, snatch your purse/iPod/etc, and at the worst, steal the entire vehicle. Never leave a car running in a major metropolitan area (unless you've got a dog in it).

There's a decent view of the front of the building, but you'll be climbing over shrubs to get a shot. Also, if you are thinking about trespassing, keep in mind it's a fully operational train yard and nearly all the buildings are set with alarms that will go off if opened without authorization.

Not the best neighborhood -- keep your car running while you get a quick photo -- I emphasize quick photo....

"Terminus" is no longer on the building but it was still worth stopping to see.

Near the corner of Windsor and Doane streets is the location of the Terminus settlement from Seasons 4 and 5 of The Walking Dead. You can easily see the Terminus letters on the side of the large building, and Boxcar A from the street.
