What a great side trip if you are in Atlanta and love TWD! Lots of memories from the early seasons, and a Walking Dead museum in the basement of the Woodbury Shoppe. Woodbury, Alexandria, Terminus and the Prison.

Who knew? Senoia is a haven for film producers. TV series such as The Walking Dead and Drop Dead Diva shoot scenes in this quaint little town. You can take a mini-bus tour of the film sites of The Walking Dead, guided by a local actor who regularly plays a zombie in the show. There is also a Walking Dead gift shop in the center of town.
Crews have visited this area to film movies such as Driving Miss Daisy, Fried Green Tomatoes, Footloose, Sweet Home Alabama, and many others. Gold stars are embedded in the downtown sidewalks (similar to the Walk of Fame in Hollywood) to commemorate each production filmed here.
[Vicki Stevison, 08/26/2014]Ended up here by accident taking back roads from Nashville to Chattanooga. It made the drive a little longer but much more pleasant. The town is so adorable and makes for great background.

The south end of Main Street in the town of Senoia is the location of the barricade/wall protecting the town of Woodbury in The Walking Dead Season 3. It extended across the street from the cafe. The cafe is also a favorite spot for cast members to visit. Several scenes of Woodbury were also shot along Main Street.
