A wonderful collection and educational presentation of everything pigeons. Originally formed in 1973, the museum is now housed in a beautiful and modern facility that opened in January 2014.
The American Pigeon Museum features three main exhibits: a section dedicated to the various breeds and types of pigeons; an area that focuses on the many contributions pigeons made as messengers in wartime (notably World War I and II); and a section devoted to the sport of pigeon racing. They even have a small collection of live birds in the back of various types and sizes for you to see.
