Old Man River and the Whale.

Whale on Restaurant Roof

Get some take-out and enjoy sitting in the park across the street from the whale, with amazing views of the Niagara River.

Whale on Restaurant Roof

My wife has lived in Tonawanda her whole life, and this whale has always been on top of Old Man River (except the year the graduating class stole it as their senior prank). Right across from the Niagara River, the whale is on top of a cheap restaurant that offers ice cream, burgers, hot dogs, etc. It's a bit smaller than you might think and has gotten a new paint job over the years.

Because the mighty Sperm Whale, as we all know, lives in rivers.
