Walkerton Fish Invasion
In Walkerton there is an outdoor art project that features eleven painted fish scattered throughout the town. They were created by local artists in 2012 to pay tribute to the abundance of fish that can be found in the nearby Saugeen River.
Since there are only eleven it is easy to find them all. Most are downtown along Durham and Scott Streets; one is in a city park north of downtown at Hannah and N. Yonge Streets; one is east of town next to a motel; and two can be found south of downtown, at Yonge and Jackson Streets and Yonge and Park Streets. One of them hangs vertically from a fishing pole.
