Duncan Hines was a real man (not just a cake mix) and the building constructed as his home and office is on the road between Bowling Green and the Corvette Museum. A historical marker in front of it tells his story, but if you don't know what you're looking for you'll drive right by and never notice anything except perhaps an occasional sign that says, "Duncan Hines Highway." The Hines home is now the Hardy and Son Funeral Home.
