Carson, North Dakota: Giant Cowboy Sign

A giant 2-D hand-painted cowboy has stood along Route 21 since 1989, but in this out-of-the-way town probably few outsiders have seen it.

On the north side of Hwy 21 just west of its intersection with Main St., which leads north into Carson. 63 miles southwest of Bismarck, or 92 miles southeast of Dickinson.

A giant cowboy is on Route 21 on the outskirts of Carson. There is an over-sized statue of an eagle perched nearby as well!

According to accompanying signage, the giant 2-D cowboy was built in 1989, and Carson was the home of Miss Rodeo America 1983.
