Artemas, Pennsylvania: Megalith Circle in the Woods
Since 1994 people have met every Labor Day at this remote farm to raise giant stones in what will eventually be a 200-foot-wide circle. It's an Earth Religion thing.

Visitor Tips and News About Megalith Circle in the Woods
Reports and tips from RoadsideAmerica.com visitors and Roadside America mobile tipsters. Some tips may not be verified. Submit your own tip.
Although not built to be a replica of Stonehenge, Four Quarters Interfaith Sanctuary of Earth Religions is building a Stone Circle in the tradition of moving megaliths. Every Labor Day hundreds of people get together to move 5- to 10-ton stones with ropes and rollers. Labor Day 2014 will see 16-foot-long monoliths weighing more 10,000 pounds added to the 46 standing stones.
Started in 1994, this year will mark the twentieth year. The "Circle," when it is complete, will have a circumference of 200 feet. Right now it wraps more than half-way around.
