Darien, Wisconsin: Giant Ear of Corn on Wheels

A large carved ear of corn is pulled by a tractor in the Labor Day Corn Festival Parade. The rest of the year it's apparently parked just off the main road in town.

N. Walworth St., Darien, WI
I-43 exit 15. Drive south three-quarters of a mile on US Hwy 14/N. Walworth St. Pass the First National Bank and the corn should be a few hundred feet further on the right -- but it's on wheels, so it does move around.

It's pulled by a tractor during the festival parade -- looks like an escapee from a novelty postcard.
