Albuquerque, New Mexico: Walter and Skylar White's House - Breaking Bad

Nondescript house in a suburban neighborhood was a "Breaking Bad" location, home of Walter and Skylar White. Private home, no marker. In Oct. 2017 its owners fenced off the property to thwart fans from stealing stuff and throwing pizzas onto the roof.

Walter and Skylar White's House - Breaking Bad

Watch out for the owner if you have kids. We stopped by after visiting the candy lady for a quick photo and she was all too excited to jump out of her chair and start swearing and flipping us off as she filmed us. It made for a very funny and entertaining stop.

In part due to the pizza-thrown-on-roof fad, the private home is fenced, with traffic cones discouraging parking in front. A sign reads: "Take your pictures from across the street. Do not disturb us." The owners sometimes sit in the shade of the garage and watch for Breaking Bad pilgrims.

The owner is really not happy about the popularity of the house. There is a sign that says to take your pictures from across the street. There is also a fence surrounding the house. The lady, who I assume was the owner, was sitting outside. She took a photo of our vehicle, said it was "just a house" and to get over it and followed that up with a very loud "dumbass."

Breaking Bad house worship.

It may be just a house, but if you're a fan it was really cool.

Walter and Skylar White's House - Breaking Bad

Stopped by recently. My husband stopped at the stop sign across the street from the house, and I jumped out to ask the owners (sitting out front) if I could take a picture. I immediately started getting yelled at before I even closed the door! The woman was yelling at me that if we stop there that her neighbors won't be able to get through, etc. I explained that I was only getting out to ask her if I could take a picture. She proceeded to yell to tell me that we can but we need to move our car. We parked next door, on the curb, and walked over to the corner to take the pic.

Breaking Bad house.

The owners are always sitting out front. Always! Keep in mind that they don't care that you drove millions of miles or flew to see the house. When I asked if I can take a photo, they asked me politely to go across the street away from their property to take my photo. They'll let you, just ask respectfully or just do it across the street.

It looks a lot different now. Without the signature brown garage doors showing you might even drive past it. There's also a gate on the doors now.

It's right in front of Orlando street so I parked around the corner away from house and just walked around the block to not cause too much of a scene.
