Fountain Hills, Arizona: Elderly WWII Soldier Saluting Veteran's Memorial
Fountain Hills, anticipating the imminent passing of the last living WWII veterans who might visit the Veterans Memorial, commissioned a unique life-size bronze of one. The elderly vet wears a Medal of Honor, supports himself with a cane, and salutes in the direction of the flags, the memorial wall, and artillery piece.
