You can see the hands from the main road since it is at the entrance with the clock tower. The safety pin is about 100 yards up from the entrance, just south of the hands. Parking is difficult and crowded there, so it may be easier to take a photo from your car.

A sculpture of a pair of bronze hands (supposedly the largest bronzed statue in the southeast). This statue was commissioned by and modeled after the founder of the chiropractic school (Life University) Dr. Sid Williams. They are set up in a classic "toggle" position. On the hands you can even see his Georgia Tech class ring. Bonus: also on campus is a 15 foot open safety pin.
[Life Alumni, 01/12/2015]The jumbo safety pin sculpture is a fun stop and also represents Life University's philosophy of innate health and well-being. According to University president Dr. Guy Riekeman, "When we have corrected all the interferences to the innate expression in all people, we will close the pin." Also on campus are a pair of giant hands at the main entrance bell tower, which lists the names of every chiropractor who served jail time for fighting for their right to practice their profession as a separate and distinct healing art.
