Someone painted over the individual tiles which is sad. But its still a cool turtle.
[Sarah, 11/25/2022]Sadly the painted tiles weren't sealed well and are fading away. They've added a new sign to stay off of the rocks. It is neat looking though, and the gazebo roof of bottle caps is pretty cool.

Only a couple miles off the highway, easy access, can't miss it. Giant, mosaic tortoise that, yes, you can climb on. Spend some time looking over the many tiles that cover the tortoise. Looks like there is construction going on at the site. There is a small mosaic wall near the tortoise, and also a giant lotus blossom gazebo. My kids and I thought it was worth the easy detour.
