I found out that the Otis Redding statue will eventually be placed at the Redding Foundation Building currently under construction. The building is expected to be completed by 2027. The statue is owned by his heirs, not the city of Macon.
[signmanjoe, 05/22/2023]The statue has been temporarily removed during park construction and is being moved to a to-be-named location according to the website.
