A 2013 Community Art "treasure hunt" project -- more than a dozen identical oyster statues were illustrated by local artists and sponsored by businesses. Map at www.theoystertrail.com. We are told by the helpful Oyster Trail Map that Mobile has been called "The Big Oyster."
