Newberry, Michigan: Paul Bunyan's Cook Camp
Large black kettle, said by locals to be the cooking camp pot of mighty lumberman Paul Bunyan, is an oddball item among exhibits of the early logging industry.

Paul Bunyan's Cook Camp
Local lore has this huge kettle being Paul Bunyan's Cook Camp (aka camping cook pot). I imagine this large pot might have been small enough to be sipping tea from. Signage from the Logging Museum also states that it was cast in Newberry in the early 1900s and used at a local potash plant. You can't really dispute that the larger-than-life Paul Bunyan would have used this vessel.
The Logging Museum has a large variety of local CCC memorabilia from where some of the stories of the fabled logger came to life.
