2013 memorial plaza honors Ute tribal member military veterans. Five stone towers hold up a cauldron, lit with flames whenever a tribal member is killed in action.

Beautiful memorial. The old Bottle Hollow building is still there too, although I couldn't tell if it's being used or sitting empty.

Old Bottle Hollow site is now a Veteran's Memorial Park for Ute Indians who died in America's wars.

This military veterans memorial is entirely separate, as far as we can tell, from the new Duchesne County Veterans Memorial down the road in Fort Duchesne. Stop for both!
