30-ft. tall color-lit waterfall in the corridors of a gold mine. First mined in 1874, 600 ft. long tunnel open as a tourist attraction since 1950. 2016: Erratic hours reported; call ahead!
South off Rt. 44, 1.5 miles down narrow, winding Thunderhead Falls Rd. Watch for signs.
2017: Reported closed.
