Carson Mansion - Quintessential Haunted House

The Carson Mansion (Ingomar Club House) was built by lumberman William Carson in 1885. It is the most photographed Victorian Mansion in the US and is the quintessential image of a haunted house. Indeed, the house is said to be the inspiration for Hitchcock, Disneyland artists and video games. There are also a few stories of ghosts in the house itself.

Open only to members, mere mortals must be content with the view from the street.
