A homeowner has hung 30 chandeliers from a big tree in his front yard. A reconfigured parking meter collects donations to help pay for the electricity. Most popular after dark.

The Chandelier Tree

Unfortunately, the city has shut down the lighting of the tree; it apparently encroaches on city property and creates a hazard. However, they are working to come up with something to allow the chandeliers to be lit again.

You can still go see it during the day -- just not quite the same.

There is a beautiful Victorian house on a corner with 30 chandeliers hanging from a very tall tree. They have a parking meter that is used for donations to help with the electricity.
