I live three miles up the road from the Helen Moe Doll Museum/restaurant and I managed to catch the owner's daughter there a while back. The store is closed for good and has been for quite a while. There are no plans on reopening, and all of the antiques, dolls, furnishings and other items will be sold either in one large parking lot sale or on e-Bay. She showed me the museum, and there are a lot of nice things there. But, she did say that if someone happens to see the front door open and stops to talk she will show them around and if they want to buy anything she will sell it at a good discount.

[Jo Van, 11/23/2004]See the 400 year old doll! See the dancing doll! But best of all see a slice of 126-year-old petrified wedding cake from some 19th century White House wedding! Owner Helen Moe has been collecting dolls since 1958, and has made many of the costumes for the 800 dolls in her collection. The museum is adjacent to the Almond Blossom Gift Shop, which seems to stock garage-sale-style items.
