Wellford, South Carolina: Hollywild Animal Park - Star Petting Zoo (Closed)

It's kind of run down in the front area, and most of the animals were in local tv shows.... not "Hollywild" movies /shows. 40 bucks for 2 adults and 2 kids....pricey, but definitely worth it when you take the Safari Tour. Its a cut-out school bus retro-fitted and painted to replicate the African safaris. Now you see the entire backside of the 100 acre area and it looks like a tiny savannah. Rhinos, ox, deer, cattle, rams, etc come up to the side of the bus to be fed. It is fantastic!

The staff are mostly high school/college kids and are very nice. Definitely take the safari tour.

Many of Hollywild's animals are retired stars from film, television, and advertising campaigns. Hollywild also offers special programs for Scouts, homeschoolers, and a wide variety of special events throughout the year. Check their website www.hollywild.com for updates.

Unique petting zoo for animals that were featured in commercials and movies. Take a bus trip inside the fences to feed the larger animals including; Buffalo's, Camels, Ostrich, Goats, etc. They give you handfuls of bread to feed theses animals. You get to touch and pet them at the same time. Great for children and animal lovers.
