Of the millions of rocks on the rocky coast of Maine, one of them resembles a big bear head -- at least when the light is right.

You are sitting on the outdoor patio of the Eastport Chowder House, having a cold brew, and you look out at a stone cliff hugging Passamaquoddy Bay across from the bar and think you see the face of a bear!
Have you had too much to drink? No, it's really there and you can't miss it. It's visible, next to the ferry landing that brings cars and visitors in from Canada. It's about 20 feet tall, according to our waiter. The bear rock head was pointed out to me by two different people while we were in Eastport. As far as natural stone formations where you have to struggle to figure out what everyone else sees, this one is quite easy.
