Pawtucket, Rhode Island: Hollywood Walk of Fame
Either the saddest or most optimistic Hollywood Walk of Fame. Created in July 1995 when three actors and the director of the film American Buffalo, with scenes shot locally, placed their hand prints and signatures in a Pawtucket sidewalk. The Walk lacked new celebrities until 2014, when Woody Allen must have stumbled into conveniently wet cement.

The Pawtucket Walk of Fame was (somewhat) rejuvenated in 2014 by the addition of Woody Allen, who was filming in Rhode Island at the time. There are empty squares for future hand prints near his, so Pawtucket may be hopeful that it will be touched by Hollywood again in the future (officials were hoping the stars of Allen's movie, Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix, would also add their hand prints and those blank spots, but that didn't happen).
