I came to see the statues, but was amazed at the uniqueness of the library building itself: beautiful and intriguing. I visited during the pandemic and found the good doctor and his hat-wearing cat diligently wearing masks, seeming to obey all the signs on the campus.

Dr. Seuss and the Cat in the Hat are on the west side of the Geisel Library. From there you can head east to see three more attractions: walk along the Giant Snake Mosaic Walkway, past the House Teetering on the Edge of a Roof, to the Teddy Bear Made of Boulders, which is on the left.
