Kids' Castle is by far the biggest playground Castle ever created. It is located in Doylestown's Central Park. The Castle is huge, topping out at a height of 8 stories! Inside the castle is a maze of walkways, ramps, stairways, crawl spaces, and ladders that would make M.C. Escher jealous.
There are two spiral slide that take you from the top floor to the ground really quick (you may end up with an atomic wedgie, but it's worth the ride).
On the lower level there is a gravity-controlled fireman's pole ride that automatically lifts itself back into position. My kids couldn't stop riding it. If you come with kids good luck keeping up with them in the castle as walkways quickly turn into crawl spaces that can be pretty tight for a grown up. The area around the Castle has swings, a pirate ship, front gate house, and plenty of benches for parents to take a load off.
Kids Castle is the perfect pit stop if you're traveling between Easton, PA and Philadelphia as we were on this trip going from the Crayola Experience to the Philly Zoo.
