Passerby said [feeding the Donky Tree] an apple reverses the curse. Not sure about that. No parking, and it's a one-lane road. Watch for poison ivy.

The Donkey Tree. Hollowed out!
[Stephen Francia, 06/02/2020]Apparently what I thought was the "donkey tree" isn't. Not sure it is still here. Quite a lot of debris and such. Many trees have lost limbs and the area looks rough. In passing the road to the left the first time, I found a shrine less than 1/2 a mile away, Valley Hill Shrine, reputed site of a miraculous 1995 visitation by the Virgin Mary.

[Carla, 10/05/2014]The tree somewhat resembles the big muzzle and ears of a donkey head. The usual dark tales swirl around it: an owner who was cursed after beating his donkey, people dying who touch the tree, etc.
