The statues are on either side of the overpass over I-25 at the High Plains Road exit. They are in the roundabouts on either side.

Right on the highway. Stop at the visitor center to get out and walk around, because these statues are in the middle of highway roundabout exits.

We passed by on June 30, 2019 and saw the two statues. They are cool. They appear to have been relocated onto different bases, still on each side of overpass. The nearby Southeast Wyoming Visitor Center has a great exhibit about Wyoming.

Sculpted for the US Bicentennial by Robert I. Russin, and belatedly dedicated on January 30, 1977, by Wyoming's governor. Two big bronze sculptures, one of an Indian holding up a gift horn, the other of a waving mountain man, face each other on separate pedestals. This large piece is easily visible from the highway, but the nearby visitor center has been closed.
