Dinosaur Ridge is a great stop. You can take a bus tour or walk on your own up the road to see the hillside fossils and footprints. Outside there are plenty of dinos for photo ops. The inside of the small museum is nice and the docent was knowledgeable. A major redevelopment plan is in the works, so future visits may be disrupted.

Fossils and tracks of dinosaurs can be seen on an interesting and inexpensive shuttle bus tour that leaves from the Dinosaur Ridge Museum. Our guide was very knowledgeable and even made it interesting for non-dinosaur fans. Most of this area was first discovered when a road was blasted out, and the area has been extensively studied in the hundred or so years since the dinosaur remains were first found.
