Walk a trail to see the petroglyphs. The museum displays relics from the largest known Fremont Indian village, uncovered during the blasting of adjacent Interstate 70. Also here: a reconstructed pithouse.

Fremont Indian State Park was established to preserve Clear Creek Canyon's treasury of rock art and archaeological sites. Its origination began in 1983 with the construction of I-70 through Clear Creek Canyon.
