Point Mugu Missile Park
The Point Mugu Missile Park displays a nice collection of planes, drones and rockets.
[Jay S, 06/11/2019]Point Mugu Missile Park
At the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Wood Road sits Naval Base Ventura (formerly Point Mugu Naval Air Station). Next to the runway is the Point Mugu Missile Park. This is not a conventional park by any stretch of the imagination. There's no large grass field, few trees, and no place to play ball. But there is a fine collection of various missiles produced from the late 1950s until the present, along with a couple jet aircraft (An F4 Phantom and an F14 Tomcat).
As a bonus, the park is at the east end of the Mugu runway, so you can hang out and watch modern jets take off and land.
