All tunnels are once again open all the way to Hoover Dam. Beautiful level gravel trail for hiking, running, walking, biking. Dogs on leash are allowed. View of Lake Mead is beautiful morning or evening.

An 8 mile round trip hike starts from the Lake Mead Visitor's Center all the way to Hoover Dam. The trail is the old railroad line that supplied equipment when the dam was under construction. There are artifacts along the trail with signs explaining the history.
