The hot dog statue has had a makeover and grown a new arm.

A smiling one-armed hot dog in a bun greets visitors to the Winsted Diner. The diner itself is worth seeing because it is very small, probably one of the smallest diners in Connecticut, having a capacity of probably 20 diners at a time. It is located in the west end of downtown. I hear the food is very good but because they are only open until early afternoon, it was closed when I stopped by.
