A natural, wind-carved formation reminded enough visitors of an elephant that eventually a sign was added to assure that they weren't seeing things.

Tons of trails to walk. Great place to camp, but if you are just visiting I'd pass unless you are planning to spend the entire day and can afford the admission. Personally, too much for a state park when you have so many other options.
