This Springfield was the inspiration for the Simpsons' cartoon hometown. Driving/walking tour, includes a Simpsons mural and real-world equivalents of Moe's Tavern and Jebediah Springfield statue. New murals added 2019-21.

More murals were added in 2022 and 2023. The town now has dozens of Simpsons murals, and they are all in great shape. A very fun treasure hunt!

In 2019, 2020, and 2021 a local artist (Bayne Gardner) has added murals on local businesses back alley walls. Part of the fun is connecting the particular show with the image chosen! Many are near the original mural.

There is a lot of controversy on where the town of Springfield from the Simpsons is located, but Springfield, Oregon, seems to be a leading contender. About the only thing missing is a nuclear power plant. They have a bar named Moe's, and I swear I've seen Homer walking around a few times.
