This place is great! Most of the animals are rescues, and everyone who works there is knowledgeable about the animal's back story. I did the extra Sloth Encounter and it was so worth it! Sid the Sloth was so cute, and he grabs veggies from your hand to eat! I loved my trip here. This is a must for any animal lover!

John's Pass Village is a tourist-packed wad of restaurants and souvenirs shops. Along one strip of bikini and t-shirt stores is a staircase and elevator to the second floor, and "The Alligator Attraction."
The Alligator Attraction has been featured on Animal Planet's "Tanked" lets-make-a-difficult-fish-tank reality show, and the self-evident "Gator Boys." In 2014 The Alligator Attraction expanded, adding more gator space and a stingray touch tank. It's unusual to house a gator business anywhere but at ground level, and they claim it's the "World's Largest Indoor Alligator Attraction."
Their telegenic star is an 8-ft. gator named "Chompers."
