Opened on Dec. 20, 2014, Machine Gun America provides live-ammo automatic weapon thrills to a jittery, trigger-happy public -- and it's just down the road from Disney World. MGA does not want to be labeled a "firing range" (although it has 10 lanes), and won't allow visitors to bring their own guns. Instead, you blast away with the attraction's own high-powered weaponry, or use military-style training simulators or "full immersion gaming experiences" to punch holes in zombies, gangsters, Wild West outlaws, etc.
It's all indoors, so you can kill time (and bad guys) during a Florida thunderstorm. You have to be at least 13 to get in the front door. If the attraction's press photos are to be believed, firing machine guns is popular with attractive young people.
