Vince Gill attended NW Classen High School and grew up in the area. This statue is to honor him.
[Bob and Denise Waddell, 12/23/2014]The 9 1/2 ft. tall bronze figure was unveiled in front of the high school auditorium/performance hall on October 29, 2014 by the 20x Grammy winner himself. Gill is depicted by sculptor Jack Nortz with his 1952 Fender Telecaster guitar.
