Two Headed Alligator.

Famous Two-Headed Alligator

Right down the street from the Two Headed Alligator Statue. The alligator is inside the cafe. I asked about the alligator and the bartender Vince told me the little Two Headed Alligator was fake. He said this guy (can't remember his name) made the other head and stuffed the alligator. I believed him. But I still took photos. While you're there, order lunch, the food is great. I recommend the BLT with pimento.

Famous Two-Headed Alligator

The world famous two-headed alligator of Seminole Heights. Captured by local trappers after being reported by several newspapers and Florida Fish and Game. The alligator did not survive long in captivity, but was preserved and is now on display at Ella's Cafe in Tampa along with newspaper articles about the amazing creature.

[Weird Tampa, 01/01/2015]

The newspaper photos show a gator probably 4X larger than this stuffed version, but we're happy that someone is educating the Tampa area about its two-headed inhabitants. And Ella's has a nice Elvis shrine wall.
