Peter Toth's original Indian Head in Colquitt, part of his "Whispering Giants" project, was his fourth, sculpted in 1973, 18 ft. tall and made of red oak. It soon fell victim to rot. Toth made a taller sculpture, relocated in 1990, and in 2007 he returned to touch up the sculpture and add a wood preservative. So it's probably still there!
