There is a small playground across the train tracks, with plenty of shade. It's a nice stop after Wonder Gardens with the littles.

A 17-foot-tall statue at Riverside Park by Jane DeDecker is officially titled "Setting The Pace." If you are in the area it is worth a quick visit. Then you can stop by Everglades Wonder Gardens just up the block.

Besides the Man on a Hoop sculpture and the World Trade Center slab, there is a nice war memorial for "No One Left Behind." Take a walk around the park; there are quite a few statues.

Riverside Park in downtown Bonita Springs has some interesting sculptures and memorials. My favorite is the statue of a man standing on top of what looks like a giant hula hoop. It is probably 18 - 20 feet high. There is also a military memorial and a park bench with two children statues sitting on it.

Officially titled "Setting the Pace," it was unveiled Jan. 10, 2007. It's a duplicate of a sculpture that stands in Evergreen, Colorado. Both were created by artist Jane DeDecker.
