Wilmington, Delaware: Highest Point in Delaware
The "Ebright Azimuth" is only 447 feet above sea level, and it's right next to a sidewalk along a suburban street; in fact, the sidewalk has been cut around the disk that marks the spot.

- Directions:
- I-95 exit 11 in Delaware (northbound) or exit 6 in Pennsylvania (southbound); they're the same exit. Drive west on Hwy 92 for four miles. Turn right at the stoplight onto Ebright Rd. Drive north a half-mile. You'll see a fire tower on the left, then you'll come to a stop sign. Just past the stop sign, on the left, is the high point marker.

It was quite a climb but I made it to the highest point in Delaware last week! The historical marker in the photo is about 50 feet north of the actual survey mark. I believe the fence in the background is in Pennsylvania so, even though Delaware's highest point isn't very high visitors can still see two states.
