A wonderful, heart-warming tribute to the 297 men, (all from the same county of Muskingum, Ohio) who gave their lives for their country during World War II and the Korean War. The memorial consists of a pile of 297 helmets, each inscribed with the name of the fallen soldier, and three full sized bronze statues representing strong emotions. The memorial is located at the corner of 5th and Main St. in downtown Zanesville.
