One of my favorite parts of the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum: a cemetery for our sins.
[Judy Ramsey, 08/18/2020]I live nearby and have watched this grow from one old building into a large historical town from the late 1800s. While some of the buildings are reproductions, most are real, brought in from around the area (Log cabin courthouse, school, jail, blacksmith, graveyard, stagecoach stop, etc...).
There is also a very long metal cut-out "cattle drive" of life-size cowboys, horses, and cattle along the road leading to the museum, which the museum says is the largest in America. They have docent-led tours at various times.
