Was in Joplin this weekend (9/19/2020). There is now a fence around the plant. Access is via a security gate that is not too friendly to someone wanting a picture of the dog. You have to stand outside the fence now. Too bad. Great publicity for the company.

An eight-foot tall-bronze Airedale guards the entrance to the Heartland/Blue Buffalo Dog Food factory in Joplin. We inquired at the office and his name is "Blue."
